We hunger for it and give it the honour that it is due by putting it first in every area of ministry. Our pastors minister the uncompromising Word of God with boldness and clarity (Psalms 138:2).

FELLOWSHIP
“… fellowship and breaking of bread… from house to house” (vs. 42, 46) At Promise of Life, fellow-shipping with one another around food, is a vital aspect of the ministry. A variety of opportunities to fellowship are organized inside and outside of the church, including our Life Groups, which take place every other month in various congregation members’ homes (Acts 20:20).

PRAYER
“… in prayers…”(vs. 42) Prayer is an essential part of the ministry at POLC. We believe that prayer paves the way for the power of God to move on our behalf as a church, enabling us to fulfill the vision He has given to our pastors. We gather to pray on Saturday nights, three times each month (Ephesians 6:18).

FEAR OF GOD
“… and fear came upon every soul…” (vs. 43) At POLC, we believe that the things of God (His Word, the move of the Holy Spirit, etc.) are worthy of the highest reverence and respect. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and we desire to give the things of God the honour that they are due (Psalms 111:10).

SIGNS & WONDERS
“… many signs and wonders were done…” (vs. 43) At POLC, we are hungry for a mighty move of God. We desire and expect to see the God’s power manifest itself in the form of signs, wonders, miracles, healings, and “suddenly’s” (1 Corinthians 2:4; Mark 16:20).

GIVING
“… shared their possessions and goods…” (vs. 44, 45) At POLC, we believe that generous giving results in generous reaping (Galatians 6:7). Bringing our tithes and offerings to the local church enables us to receive the fullness of the blessings that God has provided for His children (Malachi 3:10; Luke 6:38)

“… continued daily…” (vs. 46) Faithfulness is the key to moving forward in God’s plan. At POLC, we believe in being faithful in every area of life! Faithful people abound in the blessings of God (Proverbs 28:20).

UNITY
“… with one accord… and singleness of heart…”vs.46 Promise of Life Church is a family. As we gather together in unity, the power of God will flow in this ministry in great ways (Psalms 133:1-3).

“… with gladness…” (vs. 46) At POLC, we want to be known as a people that are full of the joy of the Lord! In a world gripped by sadness and worry, we celebrate in our peace and joy (Romans 14:17).

“… praising God…” (vs. 47) Praise and worship is a vital part of the ministry at POLC. We desire not only to give God praise in song, but also with our actions and our words (Hebrews 13:15).

“… having favour…” (vs. 47) At POLC, we believe that because we are God’s children, His favour rests upon us corporately and individually (Psalms 102:13).

“… the Lord added to the church daily…” (vs. 47, 41) At POLC, we believe in the importance of telling the world about the redemption that has been provided to them through Jesus’ death and resurrection. As we step out boldly to proclaim the gospel, the Lord will build His church! (Acts 4:29-31).
